Z3 Refuses To Start

L.Ed Phut Asks:

My wonderful piece of engineering refuses to start. I phoned the dealer, and he told me the entire engine needs replacing - it's not available as separate parts. What can I do?

Otto van der Fritz replies:

Vell, ze troubel could be der Sparkesupplienstoragen, or battery as is called in US. For fixen, find der box under hood mit wires zat come out und schwing der Big Hammer. If this not rewarded, follow der Electikcurrentcarrieuntien (wires) to der starten moter. Again schwing der Big Hammer. If car is still kaputt, tow to dealer und replace der engine. Is kaputt.

Cleaning Perrier Off Cupholders

By Herr Schirte

The Z3 comes with cupholders that are capable of holding a Perrier bottle during 0.45g cornering manouvers. Unfortunately, the Z3's huge tires allow us to exeed this safe limit in emergency situations (such as having to turn right in a hurry to avoid being beside a Miata at a traffic light). If you should experience the worst and suffer a Perrier spill in your status symbol, here's how you can clean up this destructive liquid.

Begin with Meguiar's #84, Liquid Evaporator. Simply spray it on, work into the affected area, and let it sit for 24 hours, preferably in the sun. It's hard to see, but is very effective. In sub-freezing conditions, use #84b, Liquid Hardener.

Follow this up with #54-32.23, Invisible Stain Remover. This is an expensive product, but is very good at getting rid of hard-to-see stains. From a distance of 32.4 feet, spray the offending stain with 3 pulls of the squirter. Be very careful to use the proper amount. It involves a lot of elbow grease, but the end result is worth it.

For concours quality results, you can follow these up with:

or alternately, try:

Ja, this one is easy. All you can do es call die BMW technik on der Cellphone. Your Z3 needs Oktanepetrolgogojusien. Der technik vill replenish this fluid und send you off. Typical cost is $68, not includink der labor. Use only der official BMW fluid - ve know what ees good for der auto. "Gas" is verboten - if you use it, Warrantidercardriven is kaputt!

Stinger Missiles Inoperative

By Q@MI5.secret.org

The Stinger missles that are mounted behind the headlights are highly engineered in our labs, where secrecy and safety are priorities. They can prove to be difficult to use if you do not pay attention to the briefing. Should you find your Stinger Missles fail you in the course of a mission, use your keychain to place a collect call to Universal Exports and ask to speak to Development. You will need the code phrase product placement to obtain clearance for this information.
